Equipment
Being adequately prepared is an important part of your swimmers training. The squad in which your swimmer participates may require additional items of equipment to utilised. The matrix below provides an indication of suggested equipment which may be used.
There is no obligation to rush out and purchase all items as soon as your swimmer joins a particular squad. Should you have any questions as to the type of equipment to buy or whether it is necessary, please speak to the relevant squad coach for clarification.
SWIMWEAR
Swimwear comes in a variety of different styles for males and females with the main purpose of covering the skin for modesty. The most durable material for regular swimming is Polyester and is best rinsed only in clean cold water.
The main difference between competition and regular swimwear is that competition swimwear is tighter and compresses the muscles of the swimmers.

What a great way to end 2025, with our Club Captain, Holly, lifting the Forth Valley Junior League “A” Final Trophy yesterday on behalf of the team in what turned out to be an hugely exciting Final in this FVJL’s 40th anniversary year.
Trojan were so close to lifting the League Trophy as well after finishing equal on points in the League table with Hailes, but we were just pipped to the title in an exciting swim-off to determine the League Champions.
Huge congratulations to Hailes winning the League and well done to Fauldhouse on winning the “B” Final. Big shout out to all participating clubs and swimmers for making this such a fantastic competition.
Finally, a massive thank you to our team of Trojan volunteers who helped us, as hosts, deliver such a great event.
